almost nobody plays them -3 or 4 or 5, even though they took only something like 17 3 point shots all season.
did a quick look, they are getting pasted in the last 7 minutes of the second half from what I looked at.
they get red when they play teams that fcp.
the strategy looks like it might get you one tourny bid every 4 years, as the team is near all seniors, and nobody else develops.
Again, I don't exactly like it, but I don't exactly hate it either.
It appears the engine has gotten far less sensative to advantages deep teams might have, maybe making up for the recruit inequity in d1. I have had some (well two monster teams lose to significantly worse, shallow teams in the NT in the past few weeks), seems like new strategies might need to be developed.
Although I don't think what we see above is a very good strategy, maybe some modification of the strategy could indeed lead to a team that wins 5 out of 10 titles in some division, but everything I have seen, the deep, highly rated teams still have an enormous advantage over the little guerilla teams and strategies out there. To me, that is all the above example is.
I am surprised nobody has started using the two four letter words that caused so much agony a few seasons ago - i.e. coin flip!
