I doubt that 'hits given up' is a factor used to determine whether to pull a pitcher or not. Its probably either total runs, or runs per inning, and possibly the run differential in the score. He was lifted after giving up a home run, so your question is really about whether 6runs in 5 2/3 innings is too many allowed by a pitcher with a '4' pull setting. I think the score was 4-6 at that point also, so it wasn't a mayday situation yet.
Pretty boarderline imo, but not crazy.

I just played the 7th game of the WS, & I set my starter @ #4. He went 5.2 inn., & gave up 8 runs & 14 hits. What's up with that!?
At what innings were your relievers available?
