I've never had a kid go inel in 50+ seasons. It's not like I'm winning a bunch of national championships or anything, but I average somewhere between S16/2nd round exit.
This isn't necessarily relevant to randomness, but it's not like you can't avoid inels.
isack - that's what I thought as well for a while. I didn't have a player go ineligible in about 120 seasons, and I had it happen twice in about a week shortly after the last engine change. I even err on the side of caution with SH minutes.
after that, I was even more careful, and I just had my 3rd player ever go ineligible. This current player was a Jr who had a decent HS GPA and a cumulative of 3.2 before. he had a 2.0 at midterm, i upped his minutes from 2 to 6, and he came in with a 1.9. i'm all for a small degree of randomness, but that seems downright unpredictable.
