Opener tonight.  Let's hope the lousy sod at Soldier Field holds up tonight.  This issue is coming to a head.  The park district needs to get that sod replaced with FieldTurf.

I think the Bears are going to surprise some people. The offense should be significantly better. Cutler looks to be in great shape, Barber can be a monster if he gets/stays healthy and is a great change of pace back for Forte, Roy Williams is a huge upgrade over Aromashodu, Spaeth is way better than Manumaleuna, and the O-Line can't be any worse than last year .

The defense will probably be slightly worse than last year with our weak Secondary and our aging LB's. I think the D-line should be damn good as long as Mr. Peepers is healthy and I like the Okoye reclamation project. The real killer is the damn schedule. That said I'm saying 9-7, 2nd in the NFC North ahead of the Purple Queers and the still-******-until-they- prove-otherwise Lions
