NCWC

That's a very nice D3 team.  Even better when you see that his class breakdown is 3-3-3-3.  Not like he's got a huge overall team rating because he's got all juniors and seniors.  That team could very well be a fixture in the Final Four for several seasons to come.  Great job by Dwoelflin!

Unfortunately I'm running into them in the Final Four.  I think my team and the 2 teams in the other FF game are all fairly evenly matched.  Unfortunately, one of them gets a MUCH easier entry to the title game.

This team lost 1 already, so obviously they are not invincible. In the FF, any team can go down.

I went undefeated in Knight, and got knocked out by the #15 seed, lol.  I had a pretty soft schedule though.  Congrats to the guys in the FF!!

Four seasons ago I got knocked out in the 2nd Round.  I was 30-0; had been rank and RPI of 1 since late in non-con.  It sucked.  First round is worse.

Yea but you made the mistake of playing a So. Cal team in the 2nd round, bet you won't do that again, lol.

NCWC is a beast of a team, they aren't the best D3 team I've ever seen but ever since the changes were made to limit the pull downs D3s can get they are probably the best. Looking at this team they are a step above everybody else, there were 20-25 teams below NCWC that were all pretty even in talent which makes it even more impressive that they are so much better than the pack.

Your turn.

Teams often run in 4-year cycles.  Four seasons ago, NCWC was runner-up

Ha, so I have to be 9 points better than you? Can't say that my team is 9 points better than yours.

That's a little misleading since we got 3-pt. happy late.  It was tied just outside of 6 minutes and within 3 points inside of 3 minutes.  It was a much more even game than I anticipated.

no disrespect to DW but i feel like there just happens to be only 1 elite team this season. typically in knight over the last 10 seasons there have been 3-4 teams on the elite level with more like 12 teams in the 2nd tier.

thanks for the kind words fellas. lot of luck involved, particularly getting Weldon who was literally high potential in every single category on the board. got him from the great state of Texas unattended.. dunno what the D3 schools there were looking at (or d2 for that matter)

Just noticed that the 16 seed (a Sim team at that) actually had NCWC down by a point with 12 seconds left (eventually losing in OT).  Had that result held, I would have had to rate that as one of the bigger upsets in HD history.  Luckily for DW, that result DIDN'T hold!  Nice work DW, again, very nice team you put together.
