Are you hopelessly out of the running for the WIS Championship? Are you looking forward to football season beginning? This is what you've been waiting for.

I thought it would be cool to play in a fantasy football league with other WIS owners.  So, I have decided to start a league. The first invite will be sent to the 96 members in this year's WIS Championship. 

Here are the specifics...

$20 WIS GC purchase will be required to fund the prize pool.
Prizes based on number of teams.

Roster (17 players)
Starting Lineup: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def/ST (no flex)
Bench: 8 players (any positions)

Individual Player Scoring:
Pass TD = 4
Rush/Receive TD = 6
Pass Yds = 1 point per 25 yards
Rush/Receive yds = 1 point per 10 yards
Receptions = 1 point (this is a PPR league)
2-point conversion = 2 points (includng pass)
FG = 3 (0-39), 4 (40-49) or 5 (50+) points
XP = 1

Defense/ST scoring:
All TDs = 6
Safety = 2
Fum/Int = 2
Sack = 1
Pts allow: 14 (shutout), 10 (2-6 pts allow), 4 (7-13 pts allow)

No negative points
No double-counting on special team return TDs (only the def/st gets credit, not the player too).

Free Agents:
Standard worst-to-first priority waivers (must submit claims by Wed night). 
First-come, first-serve after waivers are run

Lineup Deadline:
Start of first game per player

Trades:
Standard ESPn trade rules

Home Field Advantage:
Higher ranked teams get 3.5 point home field advantage in playoffs.

Tie-breaker
No tie-breaker in regular season games (ties are ties). 

Schedule & playoff format based on number of teams. But there will be no playoff games in week 17.

FORUM DRAFT: I will schedule 2 picks per day, starting as soon as the league fills. If we get enough responses, we could start the schedule as early as Tuesday.

I will use ESPN.com to run the league.

Here are the instructions for purchasing the GC.

First, make sure that you are logged into the site, otherwise your user_id won't get associated with the purchase. Also, copy/paste the confirmation notice into this thread please. I need the confirmation code to verify your purchase.

Go to WIS home page or Menu item "Main"
Choose "Gift Certificates"
Choose "Ready to Purchase"

Fill out the information as follows...

Send on: Current date

***Make sure you type the message exactly as show or else we'll have to use the confirmation code to track it down. Also the recipient is Admin, not schwarze
