Nice find, mmt. Great communication from WIS. That rocks.

Agreed, js. It doesn't wipe out the recent neglect, but hopefully that's in the past.

The open, honest communication is huge -- refreshing and hopefully a sign of better things to come. I have been preaching to seble for a long time that just keeping the lines of communication open and letting us know what's going on would be a huge first step. Things aren't going to be perfect, but communicating with their customers does make them better.

Fingers crossed that they attack the right issues ... and attack them properly.

Agreed, dalt. I try to never worry about what's gone on in the past. The present and future are all that matters to me. I really liked the tone of that communication. I don't know if I've ever gotten that feeling from any past one, and it gives me hope for goog things in the relatively near future. If WIS asks, I think many vets are totally willing to help in any way.

Fox Sports couldn't put out any updates last year - they were too busy killing Bin Laden.

LOL

I don't play D1, and after reading what a bunch of you here have said about the D1 game I lost my desire to ever move up to that level.

Would it be possible to actually make D1 competitive again and a desirable goal for all of us D2/D3 denizens?

Yes, but recruit generation needs to be changed to make recruits 5-50 at each position better, and something needs to be done with recruiting bonus cash

For the millionth time: Low/mid DI teams were extremely successful before recruit generation changed ... and we had the exact same recruiting cash set-up. It's been demonstrated over and over and over and over that isn't a problem. There was far more success from non-BCS teams here than in real life before the change to recruit generation.

Agreed, I wouldn't be against discussion about it but recruiting money isn't a major issue by any means and to change it to just give the little guys more money makes no sense.
