These are my last four seasons in Naismith at USC, AIken.  Before that I was on roughly a 20 season hiatus in that world.  I'm not qualified for any DI jobs.  My reputation and loyalty are both A+.  Does anyone else think something is off?  

In real life, it should land you a D-1 job easily. Whether it does in the game itself, I'm unsure. I would certainly question it.

I'm betting it is a result of the most recent update, which is taking more history into account. The logic probably has a flaw where a coach like you, who was on a break in a world for a long time, is hurt by having not coached in some of the seasons being considered by the jobs logic. Definitely send a ticket.

It's definitely the update. I made the PIT for the second year in a row and went down to the "in jeopardy" position. Another coach in our DI conference made the NT and went down to the "boosters complaining" label. We aren't in a Big 6 either. How's a coach going to move up if when you have some sucess the game see's you getting worse?

I like the, taking in more seasons angle, but if you just start out at a school then those first several seasons aren't going to produce much. We will have to see how this thing shakes out but it doesn't look great yet.

You guys should be sending tickets on this. seble has shown that if we give him a clear flaw, he will address it. But you need to let him know about the flaw.

milk, I think your example is crazy ... I'm not saying you should be eligible for BCS jobs, but for you not to be eligible for anything, there is clearly something amiss that needs to be corrected.

coolman, I'm more torn on yours. Your last eight seasons before the previous two NT appearances all missed the postseason. That's not good. But because you had such a fantastic run this past season, I do agree you should be eligible for the very low end DI jobs. But I do think that it's a pretty two-sided debate considering the history.

I sent in a ticket last night.  I agree girt about my history not being great which I was clear about in the ticket.  I've looked at histories for other coaches in the past and some have made the jump with just two seasons of DII experience and getting to the second round in both seasons.  I'm not looking for top jobs, the team I wanted to move up to had just a D prestige.

In the ticket, I also brought up the question of whether someone in my case who had taken a 20 season hiatus, if the engine looked at the last ten seasons coached, or last ten seasons.  Does anyone know what the old engine did?

I once won the D2 championship and couldn't move up to D1.  It had to do with my loyalty, which was "only" an A-.  What is your loyalty rating?
