Banned Players -- Kidd -- Jordan -- Lebron -- Rodman -- Wilt.  NO rooks -- NO clones.  Divisions will be manually adjusted based on number of HOF's in the league.  Example -- 8 HOF's equals 2 in each division. Additionally divisions will be balanced based on number of Championships.  Last but not least divisions will be balanced based on Owner Ratings.  If you click on your name you will see you have a rating.  Example would be the top 25 list.  You may not be on that list but you still have a rating.  This is going to be a bit difficult for me to go into everyone's record and I will be doing that as you join the league in a spreadsheet and I am only going to do it once.  Some of you might have some change in Owner level, Championships and ratings prior to the league actually starting.

My idea with this is to have as you might guess a balanced league so each team will have pretty much the same chance to compete. I hate the rooks so that takes out any luck factor.

so basically I'll be in a division with the five other highest rated owners if I join?  Is that what you're saying?

I THINK he's saying the opposite...that HOFs, championships and high owner ratings will be spread out throughout the league.

Alright, I'm in if I can figure out how to join this league. I like the mixed league, too-- not a fan of the open leagues like the one we just started, where there are 35 championships in one division, and 15 in the rest of the league.

Owners will be split evenly in each division by status from top to bottom. -- Rookie, Veteran, Pro, HOF, ect.  Then they will be divided again based on number of Championships.   Then they will be divided again based on ratings.  So like right now Ash's rating is 6565 and he is the third highest rated owner currently playing.  Therefore no matter who joins Ash will be at the top of one division. If the 4th person on the ratings scale joins then he will be the top of yet another division.  The idea is to have each division as balanced as possible.  Some ratings will change prior to the league starting however I doubt that will make very much difference.  All of the placings will be done at the time you join the league instead of being done after everyone joins.  Doing it after the league fills would just slow down getting the league started and would create a ton of analysis all at once. Ash probably has more championships than anyone here so he WILL be at the top of one of the divisions. Once the top owner is determined in each division then the second owner in the same division will be determined, then the third, 4th, 5th, 6th until each division is filled as balanced as possible.

Just to clarify.  There are 4 divisions in each league. Atlantic, Pacific, Central and Midwest.  The first deciding factor for the top of each division will be owner status.  HOF down.  The second deciding factor will be number of championships.  The third deciding factor will be wining percentage based exactly like it shows on the top 25 list.  You may not be on list but under your owner profile you do have a winning percentage.

 FYI -- Hoosiermania is my dad and he is currently dealing with a family crisis so I have filled in to further explain the rules and how it will be set up. Oh and ASH...we both respect you but fear is not a factor.  Your *** can be had... LOL

yep..we have a pretty tight family. Chuckster84 comes from my Grandfather who passed away at 84. Dad has always been involved with me in sports, etc. We are both competitive and used to do a lot of stuff but dad is now 65 and a little slow for playing basketball, softball, ect. Damn, he might smack me for saying that. So he talked me into joining here so we could do a little family competition.  Braggin Rights... LOL. I have a couple of 2 year old twin boys and he has already bought a couple of those little plastic basketball hoops.  Has them playing full court and dunking already...ha ha.  They don't dribble yet but they can dunk.

Well I got this team all fired up and ready to go, I just have to get support to put it into the proper theme league, as I did in fact mess it up and put open league by mistake, because I'm a little slow.

you can take the team out of the open league....under team center click on the red arrow next to the league # of that open league...it will take you back to the draft center and then you can change leagues

i'm kind of overcommitted atm but I am pretty sure I'm going to do this anyway.  It'll be nice making a team without those 5.
