Filling up a world: Let's try it...Iba? Topic

I would love to see what HD is like if I was playing in a full world.  A completely full world.  I'm in Iba, Naismith and Crum, so selfishly I would like to see one of those 3 be the target if others are on board with this idea (look at what livemike is doing in GD in the Heisman world...looks like D1A will fill up there in a few seasons).    My goal here is a bit more ambitious than that.  I don't want just D1 full, I want the whole world full.  Think about how different this game would be in a full world?  Recruiting would be different by a lot (and in a good way).  Every game would be against another human (I have this in D3 Naismith and LOVE it).

Personally I think Iba or Naismith are the best of the 3 worlds I'm in.  D2 is incredible in Iba and D3 is stacked in Naismith.

Anyone else up for trying this?  If so, what world should we do it in?  My vote would be Iba.

DII Iba is great. DIII Naismith is great.....and in both worlds, I have no interest in advancing because of this.

I completely concur...though I can't help, being that I'm in both worlds.

WIS could help with this - what if they offered everyone in DI or DII in other worlds but who isnt in Iba a free season in IBA?  to sort of jump start this?

I vote for Wooden. Best D3 world out there. Of course, I'm probably biased...

With full worlds or even divisions, the teams would either get a lot worse on average or the recruits would have to improve by a ton, right?

I don't have the attention span for one a day worlds

I would start with trying to fill one division in one world, which might be a pipe dream by itself, but would be interesting if you even got close.  An entire world is something like 800 teams.  I'm assuming this was inspired by the recent GD attempt to try to fill an entire D1 in a world, which seems to have a lot of interest.

Yes!! Iba!! Already really strong at both D2 and D3, especially D2 though.

and I unfortunately don't have the time for 2a day worlds. Work gets in the way.

Why not do the most full world- Naismith by the recent pop numbers.  Seems easier than trying to start with a lower population world.

Works for me. I may never leave D3 there because I'm already in an awesome conference, but that works with me. I would prefer Iba though because it is already awesome at D2 and pretty good at D3. What are the current world populations?

How do you plan on making this happen?

Get the word out to as many coaches as we can on the forums, who will then hopefully post in their CC informing everyone else how this will work.

World Peace....lets try it.

Yeah to be honest, I think the sweet spot is like 70-80% full.  Those sims are useful to soak up losses and make the rest of us feel ok....and to prevent us from getting fired.  But things could be considerably more full than they are in almost every world and things would be better.
