last season he shot over 50% from 2 point land as a soph, and his sample size on 3s was too small to make much of. assuming you played a solid schedule (seems fair based on rpi), thats really not that bad for a soph. i think its low, but within the normal range.
this season, you've played 7/8 games on the road, against a decent schedule. i don't know how he will do, but right now, sample size is definitely a factor. if 2 of his 3s and 2 of his 2s went in, you'd be looking at 51% fgs and 44% threes. you wouldn't even blink twice if those were his numbers, i am guessing at least? if that was the expected outcome, his actual outcome is very much in the normal range. that is the problem with trying to make adjustments early, but you got to try to make them sooner than later! (i think you are looking at the right time FWIW).
your starting guards have a little low passing, but the team makes up for it so well, i really can't see a problem there. i honestly don't see any reason this player should be performing poorly, i'd say its one of those things you just have to keep an eye on as the season progresses. as of right now, his performance is in the normal range.
