I suppose this would be more credible if say two years ago I had posted something titled, injuries - did CS turn them off?  But I was so happy they were gone that I said nothing.  Of note, neither has anyone else, at least much compared to how strongly some object when the game gets changed !

Based on my PBP's of the past week ago, my simply ? is "Has anyone else notice that injuries appear to be back?" 

My ten teams are averaging close to one every night for the past week or so (1 or 2 last night), for the prior two years, maybe none, which might amount to 3000-5000 games?

They haven't seemed to change much in frequency for me.

If your players would put a little more effort into the game, instead of protecting their manicures, they might be injured more often.

To answer your question, I've had those nagging 90% injuries all along. But, this month, I've had two major 50-60% injuries, the first in a long long time

Quick, dirty, and dumb forum search for injury, injuries or injured in the subject of posts.  Here are the average number of threads per month.  Call it the Injury Whine Index.

2012 IWI - 0.75
2011 IWI - 0.67  (they all seemed to be in the second half of the year)
2010 IWI - 1.83  (evenly spread between first half/second half)

Meaningful?  Probably not.  Just FYI.

I have noticed a slight increase as well. I kind of like them being a slight part of the game. Makes the Durability rating have some meaning, if they are really back.

I'd be shocked if the developers have done anything to the game. Almost certainly just a random occurrence.

I had my first injury occur in the last 5 seasons recently, for 4 games even to a star player.

That first sentence speaks volumes on so many levels.  Why fix anything if it ain't....nevermind.  Nothing to see here, move along.  Would love to know what seble is "working on" these days.

I have had one injury this year where my guy missed about 3 games but other then that nothing too big. 

I actually had my first injury last season in Knight, to a 19 DUR guy who missed 5-6 games before he was even to 60%.

I think they probably would have mentioned it in release notes.

Ive been having guys drop like flies lately.

Last season I had one guy (Andrew Lane) get injured twice, the first of the 80-90% variety and the next knocking him out of the CT and PIT.  (Had I advanced, he may have been able to play in the semifinals at around 80%.)  I can't recall ever having one guy get hurt twice in a season before.  In '07 or '08 I did have two guys get hurt in a single game with Ramapo in Rupp, with both forced to sit several games.  Nothing like that since.

Of course my sample size is small, just one example.
