I'm excited to start at North Park U. I bought a North Park Basketball shirt online.

I was wondering if I'm the only crazy one =P

Does having a kid who signed with my D2 program out of the local junior college send me back a basketball shirt count?

I was too lazy/cheap to buy a Transylvania shirt so  I bought iron-on letters and made my own.  On the back, I listed my Final Four appearances.

I've got a baseball cap from my original d3 dynasty school, Hartwick.

People I know in RL who play here have:
t-shirts (purchased)
t-shirts (gifted)
t-shirts (designed/made with player info)
a pillow case with a player card design-- stats, photo, and all-- printed on it (seriously!)

I'm sure there's more, but cannot recall off the top of my head.

*Oberlin [Knight D3]  t-shirt.
*Otterbein [Phelan D3]  tshirt, hat and basketball shorts-the campus is only 20 minutes away so it's easy to get stuff. Haven't coached there in many season but still wear 'em.

Like the idea of a self-designed t-shirt as well.

whatever you do, do not visit the school, walk into the store and - while buying a tee shirt - mention that you coach the basketball team in an imaginary world.....

Why not? Don't they already know!??!

I've unwittingly told the ACTUAL basketball coach (well, assistant) at West Florida that I coach there. Left off the part about it being a virtual world, and he almost called security. I had to log on and prove to him I wasn't some nutball.

No, but I did pass by the Delaware Valley van on the highway once. My friend asked me where my team was going without me, but on closer inspection it looked like it was probably only the wrestling team. It was too important an event not to get a picture. It's just as good as merchandise.

I coached FDUM (now FDUF) forever ago in Knight for a season or two under a different account name and tried to recruit a kid from my local high school.  But I have yet to buy any DePauw merchandise... Nor do I own any Seton Hall merch, since my father is a Rutgers alum and would probably hit my over the head if I came to visit him with a Seton Hall shirt on.

I think our definitions of "lazy" are VERY different Al, but that's great stuff!  I'd pay top dollar for an Al Black Westy shirt if you're ever feeling bored and lazy ;)

only because I was the "voice" of Eastern Mennonite men and women's basketball for a year, so I have many shirts of that school
