Here is how this will work.  As each owner joins, I will assign them a randomly selected player (using baseball-reference.com random player search).  This player must appear on your roster.  Then for each of the remaining 24 roster spots there is a criteria for how they are selected. There are no special requirements as to which players start or sit on the bench.  That's up to you.
The league parameters are as follows:
$140,000,000 cap
no clones (except where noted)
no trades
no AAA
no DH
any stadium.
