Anyone ever do this badly? Topic

I'm going to have an NT bubble team, and St. John's is good, though not F4 good.  And we just allowed .653 shooting from the field.  I'm not RNG whining here - we really should have lost this game - I'm just asking... anyone else ever do this badly?

14 point loss is now labeled as "badly?" How would you describe my near 40 point blowout loss to Providence in the 2nd round of Knight NT last season?

And yes, it is possible to do worse. Chapman shot an astonishing 21/30 from the field, 25/31 from the charity stripe in the 2nd half, to score 74 points in a half...yep you read it right, 74 IN A HALF

I was mostly talking in terms of FG% allowed. I mean, I've lost by 50+ before.  Quality second half there, nice job by RHT.

Come on Corn, in the history of HD, ten different worlds, all those seasons, all those games in each season, do you REALLY think 65.3% is the highest FG percentage ever recorded?  Really?

Against a human coach with a decent-to-good team, actually trying to win?

I mean, still no.  I'm just looking for company at the bar.

On the flip side, they shot higher from the field than you did from the line.  So there's another feather for your hat.

I was looking for a different thread but I stumbled upon one of my old ones where I shot 68% from the field and still found a way to lose the game.
