This is my semi-annual opportunity for WIS to ignore my suggestion to improve the HOF voting process.

Patrick said they would improve it in the next update. However, that was a number of months ago, and they haven't released an update since long before he said it, so...

I tend to have faith right now. GD and HD are getting major updates, so I have a feeling HBD is due for another one as well.

IVE HEARD UPDATES WERE BEING MADE FOR PAST 3 YEARS.....B ULLS HIT

One of the probs I've found with the HoF voting is that the voting page gets flooded with nominees year after year, many of whom shouldn't even be in the discussion. I'd like to see WIS make it so if a player is nominated, but doesn't get a single vote, he can no longer be nominated in the future.

We're listening and an overhaul of this process is on the list for the next update.

I mentioned it before but it dovetails nicely here: I would like to search for career leaders in offensive categories by position, as we are able to do with defensive stats. Not certain how to get around the inevitable problem presented by guys who were used in several positions, maybe an innings played requirement for the position. Anyway, it would be useful for HOF considerations, if nothing else.

If you get into the Hall, it should appear in the Awards section of your player card.

Also, the hat warn in the hall should match at least one of the teams the player played for - preferably the one most often.

While you're at it, have the HoFer's position be listed as the one they played the most at in their career, not the one they retired playing (inevitably COF, 1B or DH)

Amen to the listed position being the one played most. Saw a guy recently listed as a DH, which I will never vote for, but he really played all but 4 games or some such at C. Now that's bad.

The biggest problem isn't so much the process as the owners -- so make the ballots public after voting's done.  Then we can kick the lazy/incompetent voters out of the world.

Seems a bit harsh.    Yeah, I'd like owners to vote for the HOF.   But I'd much rather they be competitive when the season starts.

Yeah, booting would be too harsh.  Public shaming, though?  Certainly reasonable.  HOF voting just ended in one of my worlds (to which I'm relatively new) and a 900HR/2400RBI/6 MVP/15 All-Star 1B didn't make it.  Ridiculous.  If an owner can't be bothered to click the checkbox in the HOF voting round, how could we trust him to run his team with any sort of respect?

Yeah, I commish MG and we didn't get anyone in last season.   Highest vote-getter had 9.   I don't know that we had any "gotta be in" kind of guys like you posted but there were only 60 votes cast so half the league didn't vote.   I don't make a stink over it because the HOF procedure is broken but I'd like to do better than that.
