--League will draft in the well known format of the ODL and DH52 draft leagues: 
ABABAB  (pick 2 in rd 6) 

--Owners draft specific seasons of players, and they will own that player's season exclusively (i.e. I draft "08-09 Lebron James") 

--Multiple seasons for any player's career can be drafted; only the specific season drafted is exclusive 

--Slots 8-12 can be filled with any player not taken.   If a player has at least one season drafted in rounds 1-7, he is not eligible to be used at all in rounds 8-12.

--For this season:  
                  1.) A TEAM MAY DRAFT CLONES WITHIN ROUNDS 1-7 (i.e. I can draft 4 Manute Bol's)
                  2.) THERE IS NO LIMIT ON THE # OF SEASONS ANY ONE PLAYER CAN BE DRAFTED FOR (i.e. every season for P.J. Brown can be drafted).  

                  We will discuss and then vote on these two rules in between Seasons 1 and 2. For now, we'll see how it shakes out. I honestly do not know exactly what to expect with regard to how many of each player will be taken or how many clones there will be. There are a few guys that may make it worth our while to cap the limit of # of seasons any player can be used for (rule #2 above) to like 3 or 4.

I have 2 questions:

--Slots 8-12 can be filled with any season of any player not taken. 

If season an owner drafts season 08-09 of 'Player X', and no one drafts season 07-08 for 'Player X', can I select 07-08 'Player X' to fill one of my 8-12 slots?

Can we have clones to fill slots 8-12? Can I pick 3 seasons of  'Player X' and 2 seasons of 'Player Z' to fill the 8-12 slots.

Scud/Mile - should clarify for slots 8-12... It should read you can take any player NOT taken. But rounds 8-12 should not include any player drafted. So in the example, if there are extra lebron or Rodman seasons you can't take them.

The wording as I had it really mean...for any player NOT taken at all, you can then have any season of those guys - but obviously you have to pick a season eventually for everyone, it is probably confusing.

I reworded the rule in the first post of this thread and hopefully that makes more sense.

For this draft, Clones are OK to be DRAFTED. But you can't clone up a player to fill your roster with slots 8-12.
