Coaches,
It's been a long, fun ride...but as the conference season in Knight begins I'm going to have to make this my final season in HD. It's not a physical issue as I'm about as close to 100% as I think I'll get. It's purely a fiscal issue, as medical bills from the last 2-3 years of treatments are beginning to take a mental (and monetary) toll on the family. We are trimming the fat, so to speak, and unfortunately HD was first on my list of "Things I don't Need", lol. Kind of sad, as I've come across a lot of great people in here. Four Coaches that I've played...won a few against them, but mainly lost to were carlbuzz, tomcecil, scottslotss and smoke2020. Great guys, each of them...and I have a ton of respect for them.

Heck, I can't name them all...but I respect damn near everyone on here that plays the game for fun and has made the game fun to play. I'm glad I found this website, as it's helped me through some tough times. I'm 16 wins away from 1750 career W's in Knight. If I can walk away with that number it would lessen the sting of leaving a bit. Good Coaches, but some even better people. Take care all...and of course, good luck with your programs.

Damn Paul...hate to see u go man, tho I'm glad you're getting your health back. I hope your finances turn around and that u come back someday. I'd be willing to spot u a season to keep u around. Nonetheless u are a class act all the way man...take care

Thanks, Coaches. I really appreciate the offers. This is my son's last summer before kindergarten and I would love to spend it with the family instead of checking my recruiting, gameplan, etc. I have to take advantage of the free time before he's too old to hang out with his Dad. He'll be 6 in November...time flies. Anyways, thanks again guys.

I'm sure some people can forward you some seasons. It's not a lot of money and you've been doing it so long and enjoy it.

Paul, I don't remember doing anything that would put me on your list (but my memory is - foggy? at best) but I'm happy to be there nonetheless. 

Sounds like a couple of issues, time and money - the ultimate killers. I have no extra time to hand out, and precious little money its true, but if you decide to come back and do want to take a few of us up on the free season offer (which I'll gladly contribute to as well) and can't find a way onto these message boards for whatever reason, hit my gmail. Same as my HD user id...

Sometimes coaches vanish forever, but some seem to get that itch again and return - if that's you, we'll see you down the road, and if not, its been cool to know ya.

And I'll give you my HD early elementary school tip - you know the way public libraries often have story time where one of the librarians or someone reads stories to young kids to get them interested in books?  Always a good move to say - I'll take him to story time.....and then the free internet access on the library computer becomes available for a round of recruiting without missing a beat.....

Best of luck to you - you sound way too young to be having health problems, so I am glad to hear that's improving.
