Was a tossup for me. I hate it, but I think I'll get over it in a few weeks.

I like a lot of things about it. In some ways, it's much more user-friendly. 

However, since FOX is about to advertise this game nationally, I was hoping the redesign would be "freakin' awesome!"  It's not.

The redo is beneficial to the experienced player. I'm afraid it will be less user friendly for the new HBD players that FOX is hoping to bring in.

This survey seems to be entirely based on the presumption that the only reason people would dislike the new design is because people hate change. I like about 50%, but I absolutely hate 10% (tiny low contrast fonts on play by play) and that 10% is not something I will ever adapt to.

I am not a big fan of change. I'll do what I always do, contimplate leaving WIS for about a month and then realize that I have no life outside of it and learn to adapt.

I wish the layout was customizable. It would be better if the Inbox and World chat were side by side, under  the standings portion.  For some reason the empty space under the Standings column annoys me.. For me that is the section of the screen I'm 1st drawn to.. 

It would look cleaner if it was layed out as follows.

The survey was done tongue in cheek, based on what I've been seeing in the two threads people have been commenting in.

I would guess that a good portion of the 10% you hate are minor things that can be easily fixed.  But you can't, and you never will, make everybody happy.  Changing a font color from red to green (as an example) might be great for you, but would then spawn complaints from those who preferred red and don't like green.

And I'm slightly disappointed that nobody (so far) likes cheese.

Since I have 60+ days to decide, I made tec's day. 

I will say, for the first time that I can remember, I was in front of a computer when the games simmed and I just now checked them.   My enthusiasm is definitely muted.

And I do mean EVERYBODY ELSE.

I've been messing around with the new format a little bit more..... I'm not sure I can do some of the things that I used to on my phone. The coach hiring page looks just aweful. I'm not a big fan of having the coach names and having to scroll through the ratings. What if you want a hitting coach with high loyalty? Good luck going through each individually and writing everything down on a piece of paper.

I miss being able to zoom in and out of various spots on the different pages.

hockey1984 - coach hiring page is a good example of individual pages we will be focusing on in weeks ahead.

Drop down menus do not work at all on Android browser, Dolphin, which means I can't play HBD on my tablet anymore. Even on my desktop, functionality is worse, everything is harder to read (gray text on white background? seriously?). Game Results Settings no longer work. The Lineup selection screen is poor. All of the screens in the previous layout were compact and easy to read, not they are not with row heights and column widths being way too large.

It isn't just a "getting used to it" thing, the game is harder to play. WIS should read the comments in World Chat of the various world, vast majority of people hate the new layout because it is less functional. This is WIS's New Coke moment; will they be smart enough to go back to the old format?

It would be a poor use of time to go through WC in 100 active worlds. That's kind of the point of the forums.
