And, yes, it's a small sample size but he's pulling down 50%+ more rebounds.

Of course it can be attributed to athleticism. Rebounding also tends to be a bit more random from game to game. I've had guards out rebound post players.

Next point, too small of a sample size.

I've read somewhere that IQ does matter in rebounding. How much of an impact it is, not really sure.

I would also add .4 to .5 rebounds to Player B's total to account for Player A's increased minutes of Player B.

Also, the 4 position seems to get more rebounds than the C position, but it could also depend on what defense you're playing as well.

But you can't really determine anything from the example above.

WE also plays a role in rebounding.

Also, it's a 6 game sample and one guy is playing more minutes.

Back in the old days of HD, WE did play a part in the game. A high WE would give a small boost.

At some point around 2008 or 2009, they stated that WE would no longer play a part in the game and it would just be limited to improving skills and IQ.

Oh no ****? I must have been reading an old Devchat. Thanks

We're playing man, I noted the SSS and it's 3.4 minutes. So, yeah, maybe it's 8-6 but the guy with the lower REB is ahead.

At some point, I'll be switching to a 3-2 and IQ will be equal. Guess we'll see where we go from there.

The thing about SSS is that you can’t just note it and then go ahead and draw conclusions.

SSS means that you have no idea what’s actually going on.

"I've read somewhere that IQ does matter in rebounding. How much of an impact it is, not really sure."

You read it (or read someone quoting it) in a developer chat. I asked the question.

Good lord you're desperate to argue with me today. Did you miss your yearly quota?

My initial post was phrased as a statement followed by a question. The question questioned my statement. Then both you and wiz noted the SSS after I'd already noted it.

No. It can't.

I flipped a coin four times. It came up heads three times. Small sample size noted, but it looks like coins land heads more often than tails.

In that case, I would definitely bet $500 to win $400 that the next coin flip will be heads.

75% odds of the next flip being heads, how can I lose? I can clean up the Vegas casinos using this strategy.

May I suggest what you do next with your coin?

A season is a small sample size. At what point would you draw a conclusion?
