I didn't mind the guy. He helped a lot when I was brand new to the game. I can take a berating as long as I learn something in the process.

Anybody know why he quit? Seemed like as big an addict as there was.

He quit Moonlight Graham (was commish) a few season ago, mostly over a trade issue that he felt was not being taken seriously enough by a few owners, myself included

I tried to get him to stay on, complimented him as commish even though we disagreed on a few things (he was a good commish), offered to leave the world if he'd stay on, but he refused

I'm surprised he has left the site-he seemed the main source of information on HBD since day one-maybe he needed a break

It was a lot of things. The biggest seems to have been several instances where the "one man show" that is WIS now, did not show any consistency.
He refused to replace an non returning owner once (citing user credits and so forth as a "reason") and then allowed it the next time.

I hope he's wrong, but my interactions with admin have not instilled much confidence that this thing will ever fly right again.

Playing on a different site and doing well. I'm finishing up my 2nd season there now as well.

Yeah, this. Mike was consistent about one thing, he wanted the game to be run in ways that would make leagues healthy and competitive. When he felt Admin wasn’t concerned about such things it was his last straw.

Truth be told, none of us need this and we’re all our own last straw away.
