Rumor mill says they will be on time this year. Don't take that to the bank.

A recent reply to a well known progressive commish who needs the 2019's inserted for a few leagues:

There shouldn't be any reason for delay this year, so I would expect the players to be available within a few days of the season ending. Thanks.

Verlander is 43k per inning, just under $9.6M

Cole and deGrom are a bit more reasonable. Hader and Gallegos are in at $3M, not excessive for 70+ innings.

The position player strikeout rates are horrendous. No wonder i don't use many modern bats. Few of them have gloves worth using...
