Arbitrary ground rules to qualify; Hitters must have over 100 AB's under .200 BA and a value of over 9M$. Pitchers must have over a 2.00 WHIP and a value over 9M$. The exception to the $ amount rules is you can chose any player who you chose to clone as long as they meet the the performance standards.

I have several hitters (I'm looking at you Joe Morgan) who come "very close" to the qualifiers listed but not quite - and - amazingly enough, the three teams that these guys pitch for aren't among my bottom tier of teams as far as winning goes. If these guys would pick up the tempo, things might start looking up in the world of Juice...

Since there are a number of studs on multiple rosters, I think it's better to simply compare your underperforming stud to the others in your league. For example... take 1946 and 1948 Stan Musial in League #5. Somehow, I have the worst '46 Musial ($10.46M) on one team and the worst '48 Musial ($13.97) on my other team. And it's not close. So far, where you picked within a franchise has had very little effect on your W-L record. If you were the first person to select a team from a given franchise, your expected wins is 10.4 (thru 20 games). If you were the last person (24th) to select a team within a franchise, your expected wins is 9.6. The correlation coefficient is +0.10. Zero would mean no correlation.

The correlation coefficient (thru 41 games) did increase a bit, to +0.17. The difference between picking 1st and 24th within a league is roughly 2.4 wins (i.e., 21.7 wins vs 19.3 wins).
