This will be a 16 Team Progressive with the basic roster starting in 1970. However in all probability it will be your AAA picks, not your regular roster that will determine how good you are.
No WW,DH, or salary cap. Also no IR or keepers list. No clones on a team. Limited drafting.
Stadiums use the correct stadium for your 1970 franchise. When they get a new one, you do too.
Procedure 20/24 1970 teams will be available for you to pick in season 1. Picking order will be determined by Random.com
1. You will build a 25 man roster from the team you pick. If WIS doesn’t have 25 players available, fill in the missing players with franchise scrubs up to 500,000. Note these players will probable wind up in AAA anyhow.
Steps 2-4 will give you 5 hitters and 5 pitchers who will originally be rostered in AAA, but likely wind up as your stars.
2. The Future, Pick one hitter and pitcher from your 2022 team, start them in AAA. In season 2 it will be from 2021; and so on. When the future catches up to the present we will start the future over. If it happens a second time we will go to the recent pass.
3. The Present, You now have 27 players and we haven’t drafted anybody yet. We will now begin a draft where you will take 8 players. 3 pitchers and 3 hitters will be drafted from the 8 teams not selected by owners. ( Note 4 teams have been removed by the commish, and 4 others will be left over.
4. The Past, Your final AAA players will be drafted from the same draft, but you will select one pitcher and one hitter from 1903. ( Season 2 1904 etc).
Note you will be adding 5 hitters and 5 pitchers to your 1970 roster.
Future seasons - If you start with 1970 Cubs, you will move to 71 Cubs. Select your future 2, then draft the other 8. Note again, no keepers,or IR.
