This league is pretty straightforward, a $100M cap built of players from your chosen franchise(s) during the 1950-1999 seasons. Several of the franchises moved during this time and all locations are allowed to be used.
Each franchise can be used a maximum of 4 times which will be chosen on a first come-first served basis. Please claim your team here before entering in order to assure it is available. I will send the League# to you after seeing your team selection.
Here are the basics:
*I will match the prize amount each team receives from WIS for making the playoffs. (Making the playoffs = $3, Making the second round = $6, Making the WS = $10, and winning the WS = $26)
* $100M cap
* No AAA
* No Waiver Wire
* No Trades
* No Clones
* No Injuries
* No DH
* No Twisting
* Choose from any stadium your franchise used during the time period.
* Any owner may draft and play 2 teams, but please wait until after 12 owners have signed up to choose your second team. I will list each owner after their chosen franchise.
Here is a list of the franchises. If they moved during our chosen years, this is included following the name. Please be careful when using a franchise that involves the Washington Senators, there are 2 separate teams and sets of seasons (listed below).
Teams with one asterisk are 1961-62 expansion teams. Teams with two asterisks are 1969 expansion teams. These teams have other teams available to help them compete vs the original 16 teams. I realize the total number of seasons don't add up to 50 (like the original franchises), but it's the closest I could make it while including the available seasons (1950-1999)
Thee Dodgers have been claimed 3 times and have 1 slot left. The Astros, Cardinals, Marlins, and Mariners have been claimed twice and have 2 slots left.
