In Season 5, 20 teams met the minimum and three others played at least 40 games. So lots of live play, and hundreds of the most familiar faces are not allowed on the field. What's not to love?

I'm interested but why is the cap tentative? When does that get finalized and why would it change?

The cap was $120M when we started but after a few seasons that seemed high, as expensive players were added to the blacklist. It was tentative because it was under discussion among the owners who had been in the league from the start, and the consensus is that it should be $110 for now. It will continue to drop every few seasons as the player pool shrinks. The sim version of the league did the same, dropping the cap down to $80M last time I checked, with about 25 seasons in the books.

AAA is also up for discussion. When signing up, please state a preference for or against AAA, which would be 6/2 average.
