The bidding in the first season would be very cool, with guys like John Clarkson and Bob Caruthers available. How much would you be willing to spend on a guy that can pitch 900 innings when there are so few starting pitchers available?

Greatest idea for a sim league...........ever

I am in for sure, I doubt you will find enough owners smart enough to join. Because of the complexity, I would love to see owner's have to submit a GC ($30) or so.... and $10 would be given back to them each year they returned that way no one ditches after a bad year or two....

Thank you guys. Haha and thanks for the praise of the league FishNasty. I think this league will be great and everyone will be into it if it catches on. I like the GC idea, but I think it may discourage owners from joining. I think the bankruptcy rule will take care of preventing people from leaving behind awful franchises. Anyone can come in and start with a completely clean slate if they want to.

You know I'm a big free agency concept proponent... played in epup's for 14 seasons and ran my own for 7 so you can count me in...

Awesome! Thanks toddleduc! Yeah, I have really enjoyed epup's league. The only non-live league I am currently in. I thought maybe I could learn from it and start a live one, and I thought starting from the very beginning would be cool.
