Manager's Special

It's been quite awhile since I ran this one.
Select any manager who also played in the major leagues. Then fill out your roster with 12 players who played with him and 12 players who played for him. Your selected manager will make up the final spot on your roster.

Manager picks are first come, first serve.

100 mil salary cap
60 games live to participate in post season
No WW or DH or clones
AAA will be 6/4 average
Trading is allowed as long as they don't create a clone situation
Any season of your manager or players can be used

I will select my manager after 10 or 12 or so owners have signed up

So if I were to choose Pete Rose would I be able to count a guy towards either played for or played with for the years he was player manager?

Put me in for Frank Robinson ... was great as a player for the 56-65 reds and the 66-71 O's ... also did decently as a manager for the Indians (75-77) and 88-91 O's ...
