Is this a good D3 Recruit for a team with a C- Prestige? He has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

A little slow. If his potential is good then yes he will be ok. edit his we is way to low scratch that he sucks
10/8/2009 9:24 AM
Brian would have had it right if he ever thought before posting: his WE is way too low, don't get him unless your team is bad enough that'd you'd be fine playing him at exactly those ratings for three years.

I disagree. That guy will be fine in D3. He won't be a star, but he'll be a good role player, especially for a C- prestige team.

The WE is very low, and he'll likely only improve a few points in each category over his career, but his ratings are fine for D3.

For comparison, this guy is currently leading all Allen D3 in 3PT%:

Athleticism 45
Speed 42
Rebounding 18
Defense 62
Shot Blocking 9
Low-post 1
Perimeter 51
Ball Handling 77
Passing 52
Work Ethic 43
Stamina 87
Durability 93
FT Shooting C-

and this guy is currently the leading scorer (among guards) in Allen D3:

Athleticism 40
Speed 59
Rebounding 21
Defense 52
Shot Blocking 16
Low-post 16
Perimeter 74
Ball Handling 42
Passing 34
Work Ethic 62
Stamina 93
Durability 71
FT Shooting C-

Times have certainly changed since a year ago, but those are good D3 players now.

Like I said, the guy you posted won't be the best player in D3 (and you may be able to find better recruits), but he should be decent.

HA - I'd worry about IQ with that WE, though.
10/8/2009 2:10 PM
Wow, looking at those guys on HA's team it's amazing how bad the players at D3 are. I remember my last season at Whitman in Tark I had a guy that was 79ath/80sp with a 68 per and he wasn't even the best guard in D3.

Im sorry but I would probally not play either of those guys very many minutes on my d3 team. The 2nd guy(astros 2nd) may be ok as a part time sf in d3. The first guy in the thread would be good possibly for a few minutes a game. just my .02

I guess I just dont get it.
10/8/2009 4:29 PM
To be clear, none of those guys I posted are on my teams, I just opened the Player Leader statistics for D3 and looked at the top player on the list.
10/8/2009 4:31 PM
I understand. All my guards are way better then this but do not lead any category and I won the title? In fact alot of them wouldnt even be on my team. Surprising
