The Death of World Foxx Topic

So, I was chatting with an owner that I've gotten to know through some worlds (he'll remain nameless), and he tell's me to go checkout the mess in World Foxx.

Have the rest of you seen this yet? It's absolutely ridiculous. Apparently there's an owner named Bornlosers whose team won 139 games last year and every year manages to trade for the previous season's #1 Overall pick in lopsided deals with Zero or Virtually Zero History owners.

So, I asked for more details on this guy's franchise, and this is the info I got back. He has 4 young players/prospects that are rated above 90 and another... sit down this is BAD, another 32 players/prospects rated btwn 81-89. You read that right, 32 more btwn 81-89. That's a grand total of 36 young players btwn 81-95.

Not only does he conveniently get these green owners to show up every year and make him these deals, but apparently the deals also involve guys in their 4th and 5th years always leaving his squad. So, not only does he rape the trades to get the much better talent, but he isn't trading prospects, he's moving away salary. So in essence, he'll never have salary cap issues and that franchise can continue to push 140 victories every season.

How the hell does WIS allow this? How is this guy not run from HBD and how is that franchise not somehow broken up? Even better question, would any of us experienced owners ever even consider joining a mess like that now? That guy is destorying an entire world. WOW!!

Public world.

I'm guessing that not enough people in that world give a sh1t to stop him.

I know, but isn't that one of the original world's? How sad that one guy is going to destroy it.
11/2/2009 10:18 PM
That's awful and pathetic.

This says just as much about the other 31 owners in Foxx who have allowed this to happen as it does for the owner in question.
11/3/2009 6:56 AM
It actually says more about them.

I didn't realize this was a math test.

Is he buying up the worst franchise every year and trading these players to himself? Even so, the other players could veto the trades..

So, not only does he rape his own aliai to get the much better talent, but he isn't trading prospects, he's moving away salary. Isn't that what you would try to do if you could rotate two new aliai in every season?

We learned in GD that WIS handles cheating on a case-by-case basis. And they have only found cheating one time so far, when it was pretty much rubbed in their face by a D1A coach who deliberately destroyed a D1AA recruit class and boasted about it. So don't expect WIS to awaken from their slumber any time soon. Sherlock Holmes doesn't work in Cincinnati.

Math is hard.

Nice. Glad I'm not in that world.

Isn't it rather obvious this guy is using aliases. Or is getting friends who don't care about WIS to sign up and is paying their fees so he can run and rape their teams. It really is up to the other owners in this league to veto any suspicious or lopsided trades. If they don't care or are not paying enough attention to what's going on, then they have made their own bed.

Thats crazy, but like many here have said, if they cant garner 8 "veto" votes in that world, it doesnt seem like anyone in that world cares what happens. I cant see how a world that lopsided would ever fill without people like him buying multiple seasons
