Thought I'd put this out there once again as its been a while but its a really fun format...

How It Would Work: Its Very Similar to Habsfans - Best User Name League but with a twist of sorts...

Each owner will Choose a Captain for their team.

Whoever you choose will be yours exclusively and no one else will be allowed to use him.

The Captains Last Name must be 8 Letters Long... There are Tons to Choose From (Clements, Cochrane, Easterly, Ellsbury, Gonzalez, Hamilton, Meredeth, Milligan, Northrop, Robinson, Severeid, Trammell, Vansylke, Williams, and many many more)

Then your line up must consist of the Letters in your Captains Name

EXAMPLE: If you chose Mickey Cochrane; Your lineup 1-8 would have to be - C O C H R A N E so you might make your lineup as follows:

Carey, Max - CF

Odoul, y - LF

Cochrane, Mickey - C / *Captain* No one else could use him

Hornsby, Rogers - 2B

Ruth, Babe - RF

Appling, Luke - SS

Nash, Billy - 3B

Erstad, Darin - 1B

Your lineup would need to stay in that order for 5 full innings and after that you could substitue as you see fit (similar to Habfans - Best User Name Format)

The remainder of your players (Bench, SP'ers & RP'ers) would need to have their names begin with one of the letters in your captains last name as well and youll be able to rename your AAA guys to use accordingly also...

Other silly rules:

120M, WW & Trades Within Theme, 60 LIVE, 6/2 Random AAA...

NO DH, Trans DL, Injuries...

No Coors or Mile High, this aint softball...

Name Your Team Accordingly - i.e. Cochranes' Coch's or something along those lines...

And Since I is a stupid letter I would allow (I = Ichiro)

Really, you want two Ls in the middle of your lineup?

Does your captain have to stick with the big club? If not I'll take Harry Anderson.

Steve would take Williams or Yaz in any league, even if it meant batting Spike Owen third and Denny Doyle fourth.

I'll take Vladimir Guerrero - not your normal lead-off man, but we'll work on his base stealing.

i guess that taking Harry Anderson would work, he could captain from the minors and since you got him no one else would have to take him lol
