Worst Team History? Topic

Just wondering if there are worst teams out there. In knight D2 we have North Greenville

21 Seasons
No titles of any kind
96-474 over 21 seasons
.168 win percentage
3 Conference tournament wins
.125 Conference tournament win percentage

2 years of human input

1 year of +10 wins (13-14 in year #1)
3 years of 0-27
3 years of 1-26

Prestige in the D's since year 2
Highest RPIs (year 1- 152 and year 20- 182)

0-16 in conference play 6 times

Just seeing if any team matches this supreme resume lol.

I don't know of a team with a worst overall history, but Springfield (DIII Naismith) once lost 115 straight games over 5 seasons. They had 4 consecutive 0-27 finishes. That's even more embarrassing, considering that basketball was invented there. LOL (Volleyball was invented at Springfield, too)

Newberry (Wooden DII) is pretty bad too. They've had 4 winning seasons in 41 years, with one NT (1st round loss) and a PIT.

They lost to conference rival Mars Hill 60 consecutive times

They've had seven 0-16 conference records and haven't won 10+ games in 17 years. 26 times, their final RPI was 200+

D-3 Beloit has the worst winning percentage in D-3 Tark.

From seasons 25-34, which is a span of 10 seasons, they had a combined record of 2 wins and 268 loses.

Only been in double digits in RPI in 1 of 41 seasons.

Has had an RPI of at least 315 in 24 of 41 seasons.

N. Haverford D-2 in Knight.

22 seasons, no trips to either PIT or NT tournament.

20 straight seasons without getting double digits in the win category, meaning 9 or less.

Has never had a winning record.

RPI never higher than 150.

20 straight seasons without winning more than 4 conference games in any of those seasons.

Then some bozo at Drew in Naismith finishes with a 7 RPI after winning the National Championship. Disgraceful!

Hopefully they will fire that bum on the spot!

Worst team in Phelan http://whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/History.aspx?tid=14276

Under human control they had 5 consecutive 0-27 seasons.

I think their win % was .198 I am too lazy to go back and look.

Im really confused as why you would pay for all those seasons but not try...

In Tark DIII, East Conn. St had a combined record of 1-296 in seasons 19 thru 29. That team has since been home to a couple of good coaches who have elevated the program to an A prestige.

Bates in allen has been pretty crappy.
