Playing same team 3-4 times in arow Topic

Almost played the same team 3 times in a row. I mean back 2 back 2 back games. The last two regular season games were against UW-Superior for my UW-Whitewater team and then we almost got matched up against them after my first round bye.

They won but ended up going to the bottom part of the bracket to play the #2 team instead. If they win and I do as well that would be 3 times in 4 games anyways.

Anyone ever play a team 3 or 4 games back to back?

Well run for Rhode Island came to an end tonight. Started the season 0-9 finished 13-16 for a 2nd straight season (disappointing)

I've never seen 3 straight before, although it's possible. It's rare to even have a back-to-back in the regular season

What about back to back to end the season, lose your first round game against that same team and somehow meet them again in the NT/PIT before losing. And then play them the first two games of the following season assuming you aren't counting exhibitions.

You're not allowed to meet a conference team in the 1st round of a NT or PIT, unless there's a glitch in seeding

Oddly enough, I read this and thought how rare this must be.

Then I went and looked at my team and realized that I am playing a team 3 times in a row.

My Rockford -D3 team in Phelan plays Eureka for the final two games of the regular season. After a first round bye in the CT I am now matched up with them again making it 3 games against them Back to Back.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they beat me and win the CT. Then we can hope for that NT seeding glitch to get the fourth in a row.


Has anyone ever BEAT the same team 3 games in a row?
A 3 game streak against a single game in a matter of 2 days.
