In Knight

Virginia went 0-16 in conference play and has gone 3-0 so far in the conference tournament. Matchup vs my Duke team tomorrow afternoon.

CAN THEY DO THE UNTHINKABLE?

Before checking, I thought maybe this was a team that was giving their freshman significant PT and then decided to put in their senior lineup for 30 minutes on slowdown, but that's not the case.

Even if they don't win this afternoon, I have to admit winning 3 games like they have is pretty incredible. Winning this afternoon along with the CT, could be one of the more amazing things I've seen in HD.

Wow. And they didn't just knock of patsies to get there, this is in the ACC

And if they somehow managed it ti woudl end with a team that was 0 - 16 in conference play beating a team that was 16 - 0 in conference play for the title.

Does anyone else just find this to be flat ridiculous?

They beat Carolina by 9 in the CT after losing to them by 21 at home and 44 on the road...nice.

Well, it is a really yound team with only 3 upperclassmen, so they would have improved a lot during the year, but yes it is unusual for sure.

I find a lot of games IRL to be ridiculous, although probably never has there been a winless conference team make the CT finals.

Not to worry. Tanner will destroy them.

Upsetting.

The slowdown has worked for him the last 2 games it has thrown his opponents 3 point shooting out of wack , opponents against him the last 2 games from three 0 for 28.

The real NC lost to College of Charleston this year. Ridiculous? I think so.

There's a difference between real life and the sim. ANYTHING can happen in real life. In a sim like this with ratings and other concrete measures, it will/should be less random.

No.

Colonels you fail, yet again (go figure?). You must not have taken a look at the Virginia team because they are on par ratings wise with the rest of the league. They are not the best team by any means but they have a very solid team, especially in their top 8 that play a majority of the minutes.

They lost 7 of their 16 conference games by double digits, but when the CT comes around they're going to come out all gangbusters and shock the world...really? There was a nice 53 point swing here and even though the location got more favorable for Virginia, that's going to make up 27, two-point buckets.....KAKA! The sim's got indigestion again...
