Double Franchise Progressive Twist

The problem with Progressive leagues is that sometimes the team is bad and there is nothing you can do about it! So I thought what if you could combine two franchises heading in opposite directions in the timeline and twist the players. Leaving the cap a a modest $100 would help ensure a more level playing field each season.

Choose two franchises, one to start in 2009 and the other to start during the 1950/51 season. Combine the two and twist the hell out of them for the best team you can create. Each franchise progresses in reverse for the next seasons. Example if I chose the 2009 Astros and the 1950/51 Senators for this season, next season will be the 2008 Astros and the 1952/53 Senators and continue until the 1990, 1988/89 season after 20 season in which the Senators become the Twins. Only one instance of a 2009 team but there will be two instances of any 1950 franchise due to lack of teams. Each owner must chose a different franchise. so no choosing senators and twins. We will start by signing up with your first choice...either 50/51 franchise or 2009 franshise. Owners will then chose a second franchise in reverse order from signup to ensure a level playing field. Owners who come back for next season have priority to keep their chosen franchises but there will likely be some turnaround.
