Dude was on a solid roll in 2 different worlds, and then kind of dropped off the face of the WIS. His Central team in Rupp signed nobody this year (depsite like 6 openings) and his Livingston team (under Nash) died a slow death over the last few seasons.

Anyone know?

this reminds me of my one goal in HD....

that if i should drop off the face of the earth, somebody, anybody.. will notice, just a little.

well OD, we'd probably notice how quiet and sensible it got all of a sudden...

Guess he just got bored with this game. I remember his last national title he won with Central in Tark, I saw him say something to the affect right before national championship "maybe I should've checked on this team at least once this season."

The only problem with that is everyone will notice when colonels drops off the face of the earth, so sometimes it's not always a good thing.

kmasonbx, as one of the guys he was routinely trouncing during that run at Central, that sentiment is kind of emasculating :)

so was i. but kmason is right, i think. he just got tired of the game, i don't think it was because he won too easily, i think it probably had something to do with the ridiculousness of the approach he found success with, though.

is this user fat bing? if so, he either gave his uconn team away, or he still is playing in world 1, as he just posted on the acc board - I really have not heard that much about him, was he the guy who shot a bunch of 3's in d2 / d3?

yeah - the 2 scorers on a team (1 at a time) would simply not fly in real life. i could see how that would take some of the fun out of the game.

what was it that he did - was this the strategy where he had two guys who rotated sort of randomly taking the great bulk of the shots?

why was that helpful - aside from avoiding a DT? didnt shooting percentage suffer with very high distros?

no, bing11876. he coached at central in d3 tark/rupp in the IIAC. i think you were involved in one or two discussions on his team, he played a flex/press, and gave his starting and backup sg from roughly 80 to 100% of the distro with surprising success (in the best 7 year stretch, 3 titles, 2 more runner ups, over a stretch of a year he had 5 titles between his two central teams)

How would that avoid the double team? Couldn't you just DT those two guys?
