Obviously, the latter...but not in the New Guys world.

The New Guys world has a monopolistic set of veterans owners that have the vetoing power to blockade anything from happening, unless it benefits them. Since the first day I logged into this league, I realized it was a mistake.

The commissioner has found loopholes in the system to build his team, the veterans, particularly pvc's co-worker, e_mandat, support this as they pick up the scraps.

I have watched countless new and semi-veteran owners complain and bash the league commish, but WIS has done nothing.

This has been reported to Fox Sports AND MSN, but for your own sake...DO NOT join this league!

Simple solution... Leave! If you don't like the world leave it because Admin will not kick out the commish of the world.. I have no idea what's up with the world but if you feel that way leave it..

By the way, a little irrelevant info, but the problem with the world is not wrong trades being vetoed, but no trades being vetoed at all.

I just wanted to add that little correction because a disgruntled newB that was getting the short of a trade thought he was making a good deal and the league actually protected, which I must say is a new idea to this league.

By the way, in case he ever tries to get into another private league. Commishes might want to note that Mr. Seattleace just put every future BL and cheap stud on the waiver wire

I was on the other end of this deal. Like Strikeout says not many trades get vetoed. This one did twice though. Seattle ACE needed cash to sign his draft picks. He had no player payroll nor prospect payroll . We had agreed on a trade for 12 million for a really good pitching prospect. His first two draft picks were better than this pitcher however. I would have been willing to give him more but the firswt trade got vetoed, with owners saying 12 million was too much. So he makes me another offer for 5 million and a virge ML CFer for this player. Again it is vetoed because it is not enough money now. ........But all the other trades in this league are approved........Heck is really making me want to say adios as well... but I have spent a lot of time in this world and it would seem like a complete waste.

Do other trades that involve cash get approved? I personally don't agree with the "Selling" of players regardless of the situation but if others are being approved but yours was vetoed.. yeah I'd be irritated as well.

Welcome to HBD. That is probably true to one degree or another about every BD world. The only difference is whether it is out in the open or not. Established owners will take advantage of newb's any chance they get. Live with it or play some other WIS game (probably equally corrupt) ... or spend time with your family, they'll appreciate it.

Just don't expect WIS to clean up any of their games. The next one they clean up will be the first.

Hmmmm, the guy needs lots of cash to sign his prospects. But you dont believe in trades involving cash? I was trying to make this work, I had made him more offers before he released his team. But I guess he felt The World was not going to let anything happen.
