alright so i feel like ive peaked a a coach.....i have some d 1 teams and even got one to the elite 8 only to lose in ot to lostmyth but im frustrated that i cant seem to get over the tournament hump i can win to get there but cant seem to advance...i dont know if its my players, gamplanning or recruiting????.......can you guys please help me out

First of all, from the beatings I've gotten from you - you are a good coach. I don't think you'll advance higher in the tourney without moving up to higher prestige teams. For instance, your Manhattan team will continue to dominate our conference, but will never win in the NT because the big boys have too much of a recruiting advantage - you'll have to become a big boy yourself!

well its not just that but even in lower levels i seem to cap out at a B prestige i cannot seem to get my teams any higher than that even if ive been there for a while....

You need to move on to teams that have higher potential prestige

so your saying to move on instead of building up a team yourself?

You can do both. Plus you have went to the Elite 8? What's wrong with that? Many coaches die to get that far.

To further elaborate my point - Nobody said "Cherrypick a great team that you can win with now" they said "You need to move to a team with a higher baseline prestige" Those are two very different things.

I challenge you to make a case, using every team either of us have coached and especially every title that we have won (even tho yours doesn't count) that I cherry pick compared to you. You will find the results humbling.

H2O, try scheduling a very tough SOS. Then if you win, which you have capability of doing, you'll have higher seed in NT, play "less" talented teams and be able to advance.

That's weird, because in Knight alone you cherry picked at both DII and DIII. I don't know if I've ever seen anything quite that pathetic before.
