I know I'm going to catch a lot of flak for being whipped, and maybe I deserve it, but I don't want to deal with the ire of my woman for recruiting at 6 PM (prime chick flick time) on Valentine's Day. For those of you who are in Crum DI and also in a relationship, back me up here and put in a ticket asking them to postpone recruiting for a day.

Really? You want them to postpone recruiting for Valentines Day? It takes 5 minutes to recruit. Give me a break.

If they postponed recruiting every time the schedule slightly inconvenienced somebody, we wouldn't have played a game yet. In any world.

FYI, Sweetest Day is Oct. 16. Start the campaign now. Maybe you can picket the WIS offices? Also, March is Women's History Month. I think we can all agree no games should be played, right?

cb, I'm married and love my wife dearly ... but there's a difference between being a good husband/partner and being publicly emasculated. Next time, I humbly suggest finding a fellow HD'er to recruit for you for a couple cycles rather than attempting to start a Valentine's Day Holy War.

(It is now coming back to me that CB's gf may have posted some kind of manifesto on here a year or two ago ... anyone?)

recruiting started Thanksgiving Day in one of my worlds, it wasn't postponed...good luck...

CB, you're on East Coast time, so just do a quick round of recruiting at 6:00 pm before you go out to dinner and then you don't have to log on again until 10:50 pm, which gives you plenty of time to execute your, ahem, gameplan.
