St. Pauls vs. Virginia St. D-2 in Knight. Time to fix the game? Yes?

Here's 28 turnovers in the DI championship game. I guess real life is broken, too.

Let me clarify. St. Paul's committed 48 TO's all by themselves. It was one team with 48 TO's not both teams combined.

Also, a quick check of http://web1.ncaa.org/web_files/stats/m_basketball_RB/2009/D1.pdf shows that there have been RL games with as many as 44 steals, let alone TOs.

So you don't think 30+ turnover games for one team are happening too frequently?

he went up tempo against a superior team that runs the press. What did he think was going to happen?

I don't know, maybe I should go back to sniffing glue again. Unreal guys.

fastbroke offense ---- need i say more?

seriously, wiz, i agree that is messed up regardless of the offense/defense/ tempo played.

i agree those factors would suggest a high turnover game, but that (imo) should mean 30ish or maybe a few more... not 48.

the other factor to consider is that StPauls is not an awful team. granted, they are weaker than VirginnyST, but StPauls is still a nearNIT team. and VSU is prettygood, but not insanely good by any means. In fact, theyve still got work to do just to get into the bigdance.

anyways, longstoryshort.....i agree that this is messed up, whiz.

Did you know that they are, in fact, working on fixing the game right now?

true

How many possessions were there in the game? Aggregate TOs tells us little.
