* Removed the limitation where a team only received money for 6 open scholarships even if they had more than 6 openings.

Words can not describe how much I hate this.

Edit: Reversed the scholarship money change made earlier today for the obvious (to everyone but me) reason that it encourages teams to take walkons.

I assume the signing limitations are still in place, so the super class possibilities are limited, however it probably helps the D1 team that has 5 seniors, then sees 3 juniors declare early and have 8 spots to fill on cash for 6.

You think much more logically then me lol. I just immediately thought that super classes returned.

ARRRGH... This sucks..... and why in the world was this necessary....

Nope.

But this does more harm than good.

They removed the restriction because teams were getting dismantled by EEs. But those teams really didn't have a problem. They were still doing very well.

A.) You have EEs because you do well.
B.) You have EEs because you have top talent.

So clearly these schools have no issue maintaining the level of talent they are consistently recruiting, if they are consistently getting hit by EEs. Therefore, all that happens is they now have a better grip on those top recruits.

If a team has 3 juniors declare early the last thing he needs is more recruiting cash!!!! He is obviously among the top teams already and is sitting on A+ prestige

It also helps the team that has 6 Seniors, one or two open slots for the current season and gets crushed in recruiting.

I think next we should to 100% rollover and let it compound. LM might be able to make a 1,000,000 bankroll in about 10 seasons.

Terrible change, IMHO. It rewards the coaches who go balls-out trying to sign one or two studs every time and take a bunch of walkons.

I think you're an imbecile.....dumbest idea ever.

Sarcasm > You

Thanks for enlightening us.

I think this is a good change the limitations were put in to limit class sizes. Now that we have a strict 6 player per class cap there is no need for this as well. I don't see how this does any harm.

How could you not tell he was joking?

I don't think this is bad at all. It does a lot to help guys who are rebuilding teams.

No team is going to be good if they are constantly only signing one or two people.

If that's a consistent strategy, it's not a very good one.

I can buy that this helps great coaches with a bunch of EEs, but I cant fathom a scenario where it helps coaches who do what you are saying.

Anyway, I don't really see why this is necessary either, but does it really matter? Any team with more than six new players is going to struggle regardless how good the coach is. It allows them to rebuild after a great season and a bunch of players drafted. I don't see why that's so unfair to the rest of us.
