In tonight's game in Smith I not only was out shot 3-24 at the foul line, but I saw that one of my players received a technical foul. I have never seen this before and was wondering if this is a common, and has anyone ever had a player foul out due to two T's?

Technicals get called all the time. Would be interesting to see if anyone HAS had a player ejected due to two techs........

Technicals happen almost every game.

Never lost a player due to 2, but I say I get one every 3rd game or so.

never studied how frequent, but not unusual to see them - have not seen someone tossed - would be cool - but upsetting

Really? Gotta say from my experience Technicals never happen really. Think I have seen around 300+ games and only had one T called on the other team and none on me.

Naah, they happen all the time. You must recruit well-adjusted players and not the thugs that most of us get stuck with!

uw, I guess your just lucky, techs happen very often. They sometimes happen at the most ridiculous times, I've seen them happen 2 minutes into a game, once I remember being up by like 15 and having a guy get a tech.

Back when they had dilemmas I'm pretty sure someone did get tossed from the game.

The players seem to kick the ball into the stands pretty often. Can't say I've ever seen that in real life.

I find that impossible to believe.

What ever happened to dilemmas?

There shouldn't be any techs in this game...that is unneeded randomness based on nothing, especially considering the fact that techs count as personal fouls in college (not sure if that's programmed into WIS or not) but I argued against techs in the NBA sim and I'll do the same here. Guys don't have a behavior/temper rating...put this nonsense to bed.

Techs are counted in personal and team foul totals in WIS. Nothing like your star player getting whistled for his 2nd foul early in the 1st half, then T'd up for complaining, killing any chance he plays the rest of the half.

I would agree to this. Unless they have a rating for it I think it should be gone then. Personally I never have any issues every with Ts. I didn't even know they existed until this last season. Out of all my games only 1 time have I seen it and it was the other team that got the T.

Now if its a hidden rating which you can find out through recruiting that would be fine. Honestly though you can train kids to be less volatile. Lets have yoga or meditation as part of practice HAHAHA.

Also, the people who say Ts happen all the time what level are they at? D1, D2, D3? Is there a difference between levels?

I would assume you receive more at D1 than D2 and D3. Games are much more important and while D2 and D3 is fun to watch it doesn't have the pressure that D1 does that would make a guy explode and get that Technical. Plus I am going off of the fact that I have never seen any at D3 and only one at D2.
