After many seasons of struggle, I've got my target school Maryland in two worlds. And, I find myself spending more time on my Maryland teams than my teams in other worlds. I cut back by one team....and may cut back some more.

Other Maryland coaches, want to have a Maryland thread? Talk about our teams in various worlds, how vigorously we avoid trying for kids down in the Carolinas.....or real life, which has been even more odd than some things in HD.....like the two buzzer beaters against Georgia Tech....

Naismith - where we just lost in the Sweet 16.....Only one senior on the team, so if we are lucky and don't lose our guys to the Association we could come back strong again.

We run the Flex and Press, and now and then a bit of man. And I always use the dropdown menu selections for "Coach sweats thru his suit" and "Coach screams at assistants, especially when they call a time out he didnt want."

Phelan World Terps coach checking in. I like my Terps team the best of all my teams at the moment, but I think we might struggle a bit this season.

I've lived in the Wash, DC area since 1993 and have followed the Terps pretty closely since then. My favorite era was probably the Juan Dixon days. My interest has waned a little bit the last few years because Gary didn't bring in that great of talent, but this season has been a nice surprise so far.

One of you all need to give up the Terps in a world I'm in so I can pick them up and relive my days screaming myself hoarse in Cole.

Maryland is one of my "final destination" schools, but I can never seem to get there. The last Maryland job that opened came right on the heels of me having a PIT type season. Got beaten out in the application process (as I should have).

I'm an ACC fan (and a Duke fan specifically), so Duke and Maryland are my targets. This begs the question though, as a diehard Duke fan would I be able to force myself to take a job at UNC if one opened and I qualified? I guess I'd throw up in my mouth a little, but I'd probably have to take a shot at it......

I went to my first game at Cole in 1991 - the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament. That included the game where Richmond as a 15 beat Syracuse as a 2. Got my tickets a year or two later and watched the terps on probation....but then also watched the Joe Smith years, the Steve Francis year, the gone in 54 game, Blake steals the ball, the title, Comcast and a few down years. This season has been fun

I went to UMD from 1997 through 2001. Got to see the first Final Four while a student (we got robbed by the refs against Duke, should've won the title that year). Watched the 2002 National Championship from Austin, Texas, where I was living for a few months on my post-collegiate road trip. I didn't get to see the Terps until they played in the Sweet Sixteen that year, but as much as that pained me, I had faith they would win the whole thing.

My Crum Terps are 3-0, ranked 4th, just beat oldresorter's UCLA squad at UCLA. Yet to win a DI Championship of my own, but I may have a chance this year.

Now I'm back in Baltimore and I am loving being able to watch every MARYLAND game. Tomorrow night we have a chance at revenge with Clemson coming to Comcast Center.
