Just saying here...

Beat a Sim AI team on the road by 21...they're horrible

so they're 2-20 going into our second matchup at my house, we're favored by 31 and we lose by 2....lovely...

That's just bad coaching! Your guys took the other team for granted and weren't up for the game. You should have put more practice time into conditioning the day before the game, because I read that it's not just for physical conditioning but mental conditioning as well. It motivates your players. Or you could have started your backups to shake up the starters. Another way to motivate them. Just a couple ideas. Hope they help.

They torched you from beyond the arc in the 1st meeting but you managed to still beat them because you crushed them on the boards.

So in the rematch you do absolutely nothing to your defensive setting and they again crush you from beyond the arc.

You complain about losing to a SIM but gameplanned about the same as one. Just saying ...

And it doesn't help that you have bad def ratings, minimal ath/speed, and play man-to-man.

I would expect your PG to lose that matchup most of the time.

Their percentages across the board were ridiculously high, regardless of if I switched up my defense or not.

Lol. Good stuff.

And you'd think he would know how to beat a sim, considering that's all he schedules.

I obviously know how to beat sims, unfortunately, I got beat by the engine today, by which I never had a chance. Thank you bizarre randomness.

That "terrible" sim team actually has more talent than your team.

If you play a sim team, they torch you from 3p and then you make no adjustment in the rematch, you can blame no one but yourself. It was a 2-pt loss, decent coaching would've won you the game.

Nothing bizarre or random about it.

was it the first game or the second that was the bad randomness? how can we tell again?

I had a game like that earlier this season too, colonels, only I just barely beat a SIM team with 2 wins. I agree somewhat with what was said about your game-planning, but I can't blame you considering the team's record. From what I've seen, though, sometimes even with a good gameplan and a superior team the shots just don't fall. I wouldn't blame the game engine for that though; it happens a lot in real college basketball every season.

I should have won it period. That team had no business shooting 59% from the field and over 60 from 3...its not like I was playing -5 for cripe sakes.

4 of 11 from the line didnt help your cause out too much. They were red hot from the field on you and 3pt range man.

Looking at the teams, and colonels your team is actually a pretty bad team. Like dalter said they are actually a more talented team than yours. You have the type of team that if my D2 team played and I only won by 7 I would be upset. This result really isn't surprising, the more talented team won. The result that is actually off is the fact that you won by 21 in the 1st meeting not that you lost by 2 in the second.

Your team has no business playing M2M with those DEF ratings.

You have given up 47% shooting for the season against the 275 rated schedule.
