Format changed to 16-team with Interleague Play (Format E)

To even the playing field and eliminate any possible reason for trades, this AAA League will be a bit different from recent versions. Everyone will get the same set of 60/20 Way Above Average prospects. Stadiums will not be exclusive, and everyone will have access to all players with the exception of some of the most overused players in the data base. A total of 100 popular player-seasons have been blacklisted: The top 25 pitcher-seasons (based on ERC#) above 150 IP/162 and below 150, and the top 25 hitter-seasons (based on OPS#) above 300 PA/162 and below are banned. The 30 most extreme parks, based on Park Factor, are also out. So no 2000 Pedro, 1913 Big Train and 1995 Maddux throwing in Petco, and no 2004 Bonds, 1920 Ruth and 1941 Williams bashing away in Coors.

The idea is to make this the fairest test possible of managing a AAA team. AAA players will be set up with real names, to make it easier to identify the player-seasons you have. The league has been set up with the players/stadiums listed below blacklisted.

AAA players must be renamed before playing any live games. You can name them after players who played in your park’s city, famous folks from your region, or anyone else you want. It is essential to rename the players you’ll use so the league does not seem boring with the same names showing up in every lineup.

After the league is full, support will provide all 24 teams with the same 60/20 WAA AAA player-seasons.
