Get rid of the injuries, nobody wants them into the game.

2 guys got injured a couple of games ago.
1 guy might be out for most of the rest of the season(30 health). This happened in my most recent game.

Wouldn't a more appropriate topic have been: Injuries?

I agree with this because injuries do not happen in real college basketball. We want this to be as realistic as possible, so get rid of the injuries!!!

durability = 34....this stuff happens. I have no issue with em. Makes it so that taking a walkon or 2 becomes risky.

Besides, you didn't even lose a starter.

But what do they add to the game? There are scores of things that happen in real life but not in the game (or vice versa).

In HD, fcp is the most common base defense. In real life, I have never seen a DI team that plays a WIS full-court press. So if there's already that much of a disconnect between what happens in real life and HD, I find playing the "real life" card to be at best self-servingly selective, and at worst just plain stupid.

We all put plenty of time, effort, money, etc. into HD. There are more than enough random factors already. We don't need injuries deciding the outcome of games and sometimes even seasons.

In 46 rather unsuccessful seasons of HD, I have yet to have a player miss a single game because of injury.

I, for one, would hate to see injuries go. I understand that HD isn't RL, but I do agree that it should be as close to RL as possible, and anything that takes it further away I disagree with.

Injuries are something that are completely out of a coaches control and can have huge consequences (that could include losing your job).
