Just for the record, his WE is a grand total of "6" which is important information. This is a D-2 team at Grand Canyon.

I promised 6 starts to 5 guys and trying to make a decision on which one to get rid of after the season.

He wont be going much of anywhere. Could be a pretty solid player, although kinda slow, but the 6 WE means he will probably never reach his potential. I would except less than 20 points of improvement per year depending on playing time.

witht hat work ethic he wont gain much if any. So I vote for the exact same + or - 7 .

I recruited a guy at my new div 2 school in smith with a 7 work ethic and some good potential the team was crap so he will start probably all 4 years. I haven't recruited anyone with a WE that low since potential came out so i'm eager to see where he ends up.

I haven't recruited anybody with such a low WE ever but I have recruited guys with mid teen WE and they do improve. But there seems to be a big difference the lower the WE is. I don't know the difference between a 1 WE and a 6 WE, but 1 WE guys just don't improve, so I'd imagine a 6 WE guy will only improve 8-10 in his areas at best, maybe only 4-7. However he could be a serviceable backup SG because of his passing, per and bh. But I wouldn't expect much from him.

The 15 WE guy I had from last season has worked out well. I figured maybe if he got some starts and minutes, he could get his WE up to 10+ .

He had 48/58 Ath/Spd with high potential as a power foward, that was the most appealing thing about him with decent rebounding and low post skills. I think most power forward would struggle to get to 48/58 even after 4 seasons of playing. Was thinking maybe he could get to 55/65.

Keep in mind potential will be even slower likely before he is at the end of his SO season. I don't think he'll ever be much more then a pretty average back up.

I'm going to bring him off the bench this season. He'll walk next before season and then I can pick up a better low post player. So I broke my promise, what's going to happen, his WE goes down to negative 44?lol Can't go much further down from 6.

Basically that was my question, how much would a guy that has a WE of 6 improve. One guy was leaving at the end of the year anyways, so no harm no foul

There is a huge difference between a 1 WE guy and a 7 WE guy.

If you are serious about this kid you want to start him now and help get his WE up a few points this year and the following years and he could turn into a solid player.

Wiz..... Don't be suprised if you catch a bunch of **** from Matt since the dudes a 450 recruit :) I'd welcome the dude at USCLA! I'm a big speed so I'm really not a fan of the first guy you posted with his bad *** potential.

I like Jackson though. I was going to go after him until I saw Grand Canyon on the side. Other than that, I like my big guys to pass well and have big LP number with speed in the + 50 range. I run the triangle and the press so speed is a big thing for me. I don't know how it is going to play into the Flex and the 24 for DEF doesn't seem to be all that strong for a Man to Man player especially if you match him up against one of my Sr's this year.

Now I am saying to much and my AD is going to Sim-rip into me know so I'll leave you with that. Look forward to the matchups this year wiz!
