Sounds good but in reality this won't matter because at the end of the day you and everybody else who speaks out against the field expanding to 96 teams are still going to watch just as closely as you do now. So in the end the NCAA makes a lot more money.

Exactly, km. The more members who join that group, the more secure the NCAA will be in their decision, for they know that anyone feeling that strongly about it will surely watch more games than they ever did. The only way to convince the NCAA to not do it is to not watch once the switch is made. This is not going to happen. And in the end, it's the NCAA's tourney, not ours.

Honestly if they change it to 96 teams, i am boycotting it and i hope everyone else will so they go bankcrupt and switch it back to 65. I will not go down without a fight. i will not watch 96 teams, this ridiculous.

I support the change and look forward to the expanded field.

Lies. Come 2013 or 2014 whenever they make the switch you'll be watching.

.... are you serious!?!?! you must be making money off it like all the other greedy members of the ncaa. There is no reason to expand it

Sure there is. Many of the mid-majors have teams that win their conference that were not the best team in their conference. Expansion will allow teams that had a bad game in their conference tourney to have a shot in the NCAA tourney anyway. IMO, every conference should have a regular season and a tournament seed anyway. I graduated from an SEC school, so I have no skin in the game. It just seems like basic fairness.

Also, the new NCAA satisfactory progress and academic entrance requirements have really balanced the talent and created parody. With this parody, expending the field will create even more excitement IMO.

Why dont we just let everyone in? What if we expanded all sports playoffs and let more teams in? whats the point of the regular season. Do you want to see teams dog it in the last few games like they do in the nfl? There is only one good thing that comes out of this and thats more money for the greedy bastards at NCAA.

If the regular season means something, why do mid-majors have to win their tourney to get in? The expanded field REALLY WILL make the regular season mean something.

Look at the standings this year for all confrences and tell me how many teams win there confrence, there can be 4 teams that share a tie for a regular season champs, what do you do with that?

I would vote to let them both in.

You are so 100% wrong and twisted with this, all expanding does is devalue the regular season even more then it already is.
