After getting no responses to four sitemails or trade chats in the past few days, I have contacted WIS twice about ratatat72, who has a badly fatigued major-league pitching staff and hasn't made any roster moves since our S15 began. WIS contacted him once, and if he doesn't respond to them, I suspect they will allow me to replace him mid-season.

The sad thing is, ratatat72 knew that he was taking over a Little Rock franchise that had a proud reputation in Ron Cey -- among the world's strongest -- before minsho semi-abandoned it in S14. WIS allowed me to bring in tecwrg to serve as caretaker for the 2nd half of the season -- after minsho failed to respond to sitemails from me and WIS.

I think the problem may be that ratatat72 simply has too many teams -- something I asked him about before approving him to take over Little Rock. He assured me that it wasn't a problem, because he was just a replacement owner in most cases. My bad.

BTW, the effect of having an all-fatigued staff is that after starting the season 18-10, Little Rock has gone 2-12.

I don't think so. Last season, similar thing happened with minsho. WIS is acting the same with ratatat72. If he doesn't respond to their sitemails, he's history.

Question: Does anyone know if ratatat72 and minsho are friends? College roommates? Co-workers? Their actions have been identical.

New fair play rule #2 -- regarding using a starting pitcher at 50% fatigue or worse for 10 straight games -- will allow me to get rid of ratatat72 immediately.

I've already posted an HBD classified to get a replacement in place quickly.

That guy's a piker in tanking compared to ericwoody in Eckersley. Florida Waves ericwoody took over a team that had won over 100 games six seasons in a row and three world series in the previous five seasons then proceeded to decimate it. He's done everything he can to lose - put his ML roster on AI, traded away every good player on his roster, kept his roster at 20 players for 32 games including only seven pitchers (two relievers), started pitchers with stamina under 12 and make them throw 170-210 pitches, started his catcher at SS. He has lost 100 games at ever minor league level and 108 so far at the ML, but CS refuses to remove him. They "gave him a warning."

they'll probably grandfather him in. They wont likely apply these new rules to his prior actions.

You have no reason to assume that.

Hope your right. But you have no more reasonthan I to assume that they will retroactively aply those standards.

They would have said that they were grandfathering people. They didn't.

They could have also said, starting on a certain date in the future, or starting with each world's next rollover. They didn't.

HOLY CRAP! That is without a doubt the most miserable thing I have seen in my days with this game. That is simply malicious!

What CS never says - but you must read between the lines is "if any customer cried loud enough then all bets are off".

this ericwoody must be an alias, he seems to have mastered tanking after having only had 2 full seasons under his belt. Either he is an incredibly quick study, or an alias... neither here nor there, but dang WifS has to do something about users like this guy.

funny what douglasdao forgot to mention was i actually spent over $70MIL on FA in the preseason and my team started to suck so i trade a bunch of them away and got a lot of AAA talent to retool for next year.
he also conveniently out how he dropped his players to FA and got nothing in return for them just to make his team worse, he is jsut mad because he is ACTUALLY tanking and my team that isnt tanking has a worse record than him so he wont get his coveted #1 pick. i actually picked up over $60MIL in salary off waivers from him to prevent other teams from getting them for free in the playoffs.

Wierd, how i never had an issue in any of my other 9 frnachises.

oh and greeny9, im not an alias or a quick study. i didnt even know what tanking was until this guy complained about it. if i was really doing all the things this guy said they would have stripped my team, they didn't.
