Passing or Rebounding? Topic

Which is more important in an SF? Passing or Rebounding? If they had all the same exact stats but one had high Passing and low Rebounding and the pther had high Rebounding and low Passing, which would be the better choice? thanks.

Depends on your offense, but I'll always take a good passer over a rebounder at the SF position.

Motion Offense, yeah I like to have more of a guard-type SF but I wanted to get some other opinions

Rebounding, definitely.

Reb.

rebounding and its not even close. Passing is one of the last things I look at for a SF, right infront of sb but behind def. Reb is the 2nd most important, right behind ath but infront of speed.

I would take either depending on my players around him. I would not be opposed to a sf with under 20 reb it everything else is what I wanted and I had good complementry players

I primarily play flex, so I like the passing. I'm sorry, but a good passer in any offense is always of benefit.

In my opinion, it's rebounding by far.

I consider SPD and RB to be the top two ratings for a SF.

To be specific, the rating formula I use for recruits values RB as 1.66 times more important than PA.

Wouldn't it also depend on your PF/C? If you have big time rebounders at the post positions couldn't you get away with a lesser rebounder at SF?

Yeah, like say my PF and C are eally great REB, would that make it less important for my SF?

If you had decent rebounding with your guards it would probably make up for it a little bit. I haven't had a dominant rebounder for a long time but my teams usually manage to have close to the same amount of rebounds of my opponents.

I don't know, my feeling is that if you are going to have a bad passing, great rebounding SF, you might as well get a PF in the position.

In d2 reb at the sf isnt that important

What do you want your sf to do? Score rebound or fill a spot
